Angry Birds Rio
One of the most popular iPhone apps this year is a puzzle mobile game called Angry Birds developed by Rovio Mobile based in Finland. It reigned on top since it was first released in December 2009 for Apple’s iOS. When over 12 million copies of the mobile game were purchased from the Apple’s App store, the company that developed the game started to design a version which is applicable to smartphones especially those that utilize an Android operating system.
The game came into realization inspired by a sketch of stylized and wingless birds. After the success of the Angry Birds in mobile phones, a version followed with a more challenging and more fun levels applicable to other platforms like PC, PSP and other Nintendo.
Just this March the 20th Century Fox and the Rovio Mobile made a partnership uniting the most popular mobile today the Angry Birds Rio to the animated film called Rio. This movie is all about comedy-adventure of a domesticated Macaw named Blu. The bird never learned to fly and live a very comfortable life together with his owner and best friend Linda.
They headed to Rio de Janeiro when they thought Blu is of the last of its kind. There in the exotic land they meet Jewel, the female
counterpart of Blu but they were soon kidnapped by animal smugglers. Jewel and other smooth talking city birds help Blu escape the kidnapper. Together with their newly found friends they have to thwart the kidnappers. The problem is flying is the only escape for them and Blu had never flown before. Hot on their trail and with the encouragement coming from Jewel
Blu learned that he could fly.
In the version of Angry Birds Rio, the Angry Birds themselves are the one kidnapped and were taken to Rio City just like the movie. They eventually get away from their captors and the adventure begins when they fly out to rescue their friend Blu and Jewel. These two macaws are the stars of the motion picture called Rio. Based on this highly acclaimed family-oriented movie Angry Birds Rio was adapted with exceptional twists. This physic-based gameplay becomes the most in demand mobile game of today.
The game has 45 levels and will add new levels via the app updates. It will be available soon for download on tablets and smart phones worldwide. As the game progress, new levels will be unlocked, additional features will be added in Angry Birds Rio and game fanatics will enjoy a high definition resolution ever.
